A retired manager from Penang who obtained inspiration from watching tv drama struck 4D Result DMC Jackpot 2 and walk away with RM336,000 from 4D Result head office.
The lucky winner from Georgetown, Penang, won the lucrative DMC Jackpot 2 on April 9 based on numbers derived from the car plate and apartment lot number of 6115 and 107, while watching a Hokkien drama on TV.
He told 4D Result that the pair of lucky numbers happened to be his usual favourite number when it appeared on TV, and therefore after the massage session he immediately went to the nearest 4D Result outlet to place the bet on DMC Jackpot.
The lucky winner later said he would donate part of the winnings for charity.
Recently, a 60-year old restaurant worker from Negeri Sembilan won the 4D Result 1+3D Jackpot of RM13.2mil with just RM2 on March 26, on his motorcycle number and the last four digit of his mobile number, of 1198 and 0098.
The lucky winner told 4D Result that he had won 4D Result 1+3D a few times, but never expect to win such big prize.
The lucky winner said that he had yet to decide how to utilise the prize money in full although he may use part of it to start a restaurant business.
